Affecting System - Servers in CogentDC location
Dear Customers,
We have been notified by Cogent, the network transport provider for our CogentDC location, about scheduled maintenance on their network.
This only affects services hosted in CogentDC, Frankfurt. Other locations are not affected, and services hosted in FR5 or FR7 will continue running normally.
Maintenance window: 10 June 2026, 00:00 - 06:00 CEST
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (CogentDC)
Expected impact: VPS and dedicated servers in this location will remain powered on, but internet connectivity may be interrupted during the maintenance window for up to 180 minutes. The actual downtime will likely be shorter.
This maintenance is being performed by Cogent on their own network. We had deliberately ordered redundant paths for this connection, but unfortunately Cogent terminates both of our links on different line cards within the same router. Because of this, both links are affected and the downtime cannot be fully avoided.
We understand this is far from ideal, and we are already in discussion with Cogent about a more resilient setup to prevent this from happening again in the future.
Our team will monitor the maintenance from start to finish and do everything within our control to keep the impact as low as possible.
