Why your VPS shows Xeon E3-12xx v2 Print

  • Xeon E3-12xx v2, CPU, Support, Hardware, wrong hardware
  • 0

The CPU name shown inside a VPS may not match the physical CPU in the host server. The hypervisor can present a virtual CPU model such as Xeon E3-12xx v2 to the guest operating system.

To show the physical CPU model, open the control panel and change the CPU type to Host.

Leave the default CPU type in place unless you need the host CPU features, for example when running virtual machines inside the VPS. Contact support if you are unsure.
